This firm, established in 1994 as a commercial one, was later realigned into an agricultural enterprise with 25 hectares of orchards.
As we were occupying ourselves with wine trade, we took the advantage before CR entered the EU and we planted vineyards of 16 hectares area in 2004. After this action we logically built a new modern operation for grapes processing and wine production.
Processing technology
The main precedence is the wine quality. The possibility of modern technology processing and the observance of maximal operation hygiene surely contribute to this.
Considerate handling with the product already in vineyards, transport to the precinct and subsequent processing – hulling, worm pump transportation, pneumatic winepress work, etc. are very important.
We take advantage of rustproof vats with the ability of controlled course of must fermentation with the purpose to extract aromatic and harmonic white wines.
Fermentation of red wines is produced in special semiautomatic vinificators and rotatantions by using non-oxidative method. Using the abilities of this technology and apple-milky fermentation noticeably raise the quality of these cultivars.
Locality
Our production is situated in the most fertile part of the South Moravian region, near Břeclav in the largest vinedresser village in the Czech Republic, in Velké Bílovice (more than 800 hectares of vineyards). Great climatic conditions, location and soil structure of local vineyards allow reaching good saccharinity and grapes quality, which is the first and the most important precondition for good-quality wine making. Vineyards are situated in three fields: Nová Hora - cadastral district of Velké Bílovice, Slovenské and Sahary - cadastral district of Moravský Žižkov (one third of vineyards is irrigated). We are members of Integrated Production Association, which takes care of ecological cultivation of fruits, grapes and wine production.
